The Standard Process
Submit Online
The application and construction documents are uploaded through Chandler's online permit / Electronic Plan Review portal.
Plan Review & Corrections
Building Safety and other disciplines review the plans against adopted codes. Correction comments come back through the portal; we revise and resubmit until approved.
Fees & Permit Issuance
Once approved, fees are paid online and the permit and approved plans are issued.
Inspections
Inspections are requested by text, phone, or online using the permit number. Each phase must pass before it's covered or concealed.
Final Inspection & Certificate of Occupancy
A final inspection signs off the work, and a Certificate of Occupancy is issued where the use requires one.
